Bruton Stroube Presents:

Amazon

Stills. Motion. Post.

A Perfect Fit

When you have a client such as Amazon that still runs like a startup (even after 25+ years)...you better be ready for a helluva ride! We run a very tight ship, are able to solve creatively on the fly, and are always agile. We run highly organized productions to give the Amazon team time and brain space to concentrate on what they do best, building one of the most successful businesses in history.

Amazon makes full use of our variety of services from photography to motion, to post production and VFX. We love being a resource for such an exciting company and we're very proud of the work we've created with them.

Worldwide Prime Launches

The Amazon Prime team engaged Bruton Stroube to help create custom, authentic photography to launch Prime all over the globe. We established both silo imagery in studio, in addition to more cinematic, stylized shots on location.

Starting with testing in the U.S., we set the brand photography look and took that to NYC, LA and St. Louis for our stateside productions.

Then it was time to spread the love internationally and so far we’ve created imagery for Mexico, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Australia, Dubai, Brazil, and…more to be announced soon!

Behind Some Scenes

Keepin' it real

Doing the productions in a foreign country brings challenges, but it helps guarantee cultural authenticity. We were able to translate each of those creative decisions in-country by hiring local talent, locations and crew …and getting their input to make sure we were hitting the mark and speaking their language (so to speak), all while ensuring a cohesive global brand look for all assets.

Prime Weird & Wonderful

The Prime team engaged us to create 3D text that would be integrated with practical photography of paper origami surrounding the concept of the Weird and Wonderful deals that would be found on Prime Day.

Our in-house 3D artists modeled and rendered the 3D text in 6 languages and added the finishing touches in Photoshop.

This workflow gave us broad flexibility and finishing options for final color, lighting/shadows and even the smallest textures to enhance the paper detail.

Motion

The Motion Full Meal Deal

Our fully staffed motion department has handled all varieties of Amazon projects. Our productions run the gamut from lean and mean, to downright obnoxious in scale...whatever it takes. Our 5 producers keep it buttoned up from pre-production and shooting, through edit, sound, VFX and color...we’ve got your back.

Having everyone in house allows us to move quickly and efficiently. Our team loves to collaborate and we solve visual problems together on a daily basis. Here’s some of what we’ve done with Amazon...

Outpost

Amazon Music

Outpost partnered with FERAL Creative to bring to life two pieces. Outpost handled every aspect of the post-production process from editing, to sound design, mix and color grade.

The first was in preparation for Justin Timberlake's album, Man of the Woods. Each video (three total) in this series broke down a different song on the album. Directed by Ryan Booth and produced by Sarah Schutzki, these interview based edits were built around intimate stories of Justin's time writing the album.

The second series was for Elton John and Bernie Taupin's album, Revamp & Restoration. Again, directed by Ryan Booth and Produced by FERAL, these interview based albums centered around the projects. Using a wide-range of provided archival imagery, the pieces start with the Elton John origin story and walk up to the present day project.

It's been a great partnership

And we feel like we're just getting started.
